Long johns are warm, comfortable and provide an effective extra layer of clothing to help you brave the cold weather during the winter months. Long johns have been popular for many years but even though many men wear them, many will not admit to even owning a pair.
Long johns may seem to some to be an item of men’s underwear from the past but this is not the case. Many young men today own long johns and wear them regularly. This may not be well-known because for some reason long johns cause embarrassment for some. In general, men do not like to admit to wearing long johns even though they do and enjoy the advantages of them too.
Recent research carried out revealed that over half the men surveyed own and wear long johns but that the majority of these men do not feel comfortable about admitting it. Long johns are apparently not culturally acceptable today even though long johns have been around for such a long time and are such a favourite for so many.
Long johns are an important piece of men’s underwear and highly practical in many ways and this is why so many men own at least one pair. Men need to be confident in their long johns and those that have not yet tried wearing them should definitely have a go.
